We researched the market in detail for this purchase - a light, easy to recline, easy on the eye sofa bed for a guest room /office. What a joy to receive a product that lives up to its description, if not exceeds it.
This is great design, a pleasure to look at and to sit on / crash out on during the day. Quite delicate but sturdy.
You can collapse it into a double bed (almost) with one hand - the mechanism is well thought-out and moves very smoothly. And it goes back to its settee shape equally smoothly. The mattress is surprisingly thick, comfortable and good quality.
We ended up sleeping on this bed for a month as we gave our master bedroom to our guests, and we got a better, more restful sleep than in our usual bed every night!
It's become a valued member of the family. Full marks to the supplier who we can warmly recommend - great service, packaging and communication. You won't go wrong with this item.

This futon was straightforward to put together. You need two people for the later stages and the mattress is very heavy. Once up, the futon looks very smart. The mattress is deep and heavy and two people are needed to lift it while it is being made into a bed and afterwards, getting it back in position as a seat. The 3 seater is plenty long enough for the bed. The 2 seater would probably only be long enough for children or short people. The width is that of a standard double bed. The mattress is firm - it doesn't give much but is comfortable enough for occasional use.
