This item was difficult to build, when we finally managed to finish building it we found the arm was damaged. There was no way we could attempt to take it apart again. But when we unpacked the mattress we were shocked to find how lumpy and out of the shape the matress was, even after following the instructions to let it lay for 24 to 48 hours. It is not a good fit on the frame and I wouldn`t let a dog sleep on the bumps. I emailed the company and got no reply so posted my feedback. They certainly replied quickly to that, calling me a liar and saying I was misleading their customers and they would not even talk to me until I removed the feedback. What is the point of feedback when you tell things how they are and the company can threaten you to remove it.
Anyway they have not resolved the problem and have been nasty and rude, no customer service and have not even tried to meet me half way. My Son has now taken over because I find this to stressful to handle and I am lumbered with something I paid good money for and cannot use.

We bought this Futon after moving away to accommodate visiting friends and family. The one thing I can say about it is that you get what you pay for. This is uncomfortable to sit on, the 'mattress' is fairly thin and patchy so you certainly feel the metal bars underneath you! In bed mode, it's alright if you double up with something like a roll up mattress you would use for camping.
The assembly instructions are diabolical, as are the tools supplied with it. I have had plenty of practice with flat-pack furniture and a decent toolkit so managed to knock it together myself in under an hour.
At the end of the day, it is useful and does the job, but it is a cheap model and that's reflected in the quality.
